ROSES is the most important tourist town of the northen Costa Brava and the closest to the European capitals. Located in a privileged position in the bay of the same name, the town is oriented towards the west, which makes the sunsets here a show of unmatched beauty. Nestling beneath the Cabo de Creus mountain, its coast boasts a series of small coves which are the sunniest in Catalonia. To the south the town opens onto the bay, an excellent port since ancient times. Its extensive beaches of fine sand are suitable for all kinds of sporting or nautical activities.
